Ingredients

Burger Mixture
  • 1.5 lb ground chuck Use a good quality ground beef for best flavor.
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream Adds moisture and creaminess.
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix For seasoning.
  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon Adds a savory flavor.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For cheesiness.
Toppings
  • Hamburger buns Choose your favorite type.
  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo Use these for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 hamburger patties. Lightly press a dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during grilling.
Cooking
  1. Grill the patties over medium heat to your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done.
  2. Serve on your favorite hamburger buns topped with lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo. Toast the buns for extra crunch.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container. They can last 3-4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer. Reheat on the grill or in a skillet.
