Ingredients

Dry Rub Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Pork Chops
  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together your dry rub ingredients.
  3. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil on the chops, then rub the seasoning all over.
  4. Place the pork chops on your prepared baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 140°F to 145°F.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them rest for 5 to 10 minutes, tented with aluminum foil. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t skip the drying step for better seasoning adhesion and browning. Letting the pork chops rest enhances tenderness. Feel free to experiment with different seasonings.
